Elemental Folklore is a collection of stunning new computer music works by innovative computer musician Robert Scott Thompson. Released in 1995 this recording features works created during a very productive period of compositional activity in 1994. The disc features the suite of works of which the award winning RuST is a part - Cosmic Fire. Each of the works presented on the disc reflect the superb technique of the composer in shaping timbres and musical forms. This is state-of-the-art computer music which never looses sight of the musical imperatives of the compositional process.
